In a world full of magical creatures and powerful witches, three friends are just plain normal. They wish they had the magic they see around them, so they try their best to use magical items, despite repeated mishaps. These determined friends explore their magical realm as well as their feelings, identities, and how you can make your own exciting life in a world where you feel less than the average.​

I wrote, animated, voice acted, directed other voice actors, produced a remix song, and poured my heart and soul into this short film! I plan to continue this series and polish this episode, but here is the original version of my senior thesis project. I created these characters and concept while pursuing my BFA in Illustration at Parsons School of Design. I hand-drew a sample episode/animatic (shown on the right) for a sophomore year animation class at Parsons. For my senior thesis, I had about six months to develop the digitally animated episode (shown above). I wrote the script, created story boards, learned new animation techniques, and developed many other new skills through making this episode. In the future, I want to polish the animations and have a visual style more similar to the hand painted animation at the right. I show the digital episode here first because it is the most fully developed. I made art with these characters for multiple other projects throughout my college studies, from children's books to screen prints, some of which I included below!
